By creating an account, accessing the forums, or uploading materials to the Fun Center Academy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
Active Status: Membership is granted to individuals and entities within the amusement and entertainment industry.
Tier Access: Access to Startup, Student, Advanced, and Academy groups is determined by your subscription level. Sharing login credentials to bypass tier restrictions is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination.
To maintain a high-value environment, all members and vendors must adhere to the following:
Anti-Solicitation: Vendors and service providers may not contact members directly without an explicit invitation.
Prohibited Behavior: Harassment, “fake” solicitation, aggressive sales tactics, and the sharing of other members’ private information are strictly forbidden.
The “Three-Strike” Rule: The Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account (Member or Vendor) that receives three (3) verified complaints regarding conduct or policy violations.
Ownership: You retain all rights to the project plans, designs, and business data you upload.
Limited License: By posting in the Academy forums, you grant the Academy a limited license to host and display your content only to the specific group/tier you have posted in.
Non-Disclosure: All members agree to a mutual non-disclosure of any proprietary information seen within the private Academy groups.
The Fun Center Academy provides educational resources, templates, and community networking.
No Results Guaranteed: We do not guarantee the financial success, regulatory approval, or operational viability of any amusement center built using Academy materials.
“As-Is” Basis: All information is provided “as-is.” Use of Academy designs or plans is at the member’s own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Fun Center Academy, its owners, and its volunteer moderators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising from your use of the site or the conduct of other members/vendors.
The Academy reserves the right to terminate access at any time, without refund, for a breach of these Terms or the Privacy & Non-Disclosure Statement.
The Fun Center Academy is a high-value community built on time, effort, and creativity. We recognize that our members often upload sensitive project plans, business designs, and proprietary concepts.
Strict Confidentiality: All project details, business plans, market information, and designs shared within the Academy are held in strict confidence. If in-doubt, request we sign an NDA for your protection.
Ownership: Members retain full ownership of their intellectual property. The Academy acts as a secure platform for development, not as a claimant to your work.
To ensure a focused environment free from unsolicited sales pitches:
Vendor Restrictions: Academy equipment suppliers, service vendors, and third-party providers are strictly prohibited from initiating direct contact with members.
Member Control: Suppliers may only interact with a member if they have been explicitly invited by that member to collaborate or provide information.
Private Environments: Student and Developer tiers maintain dedicated private groups to ensure peer-to-peer security.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for behavior that undermines the security or peace of mind of our community.
For Suppliers/Vendors: Any supplier reported three (3) times for improper behavior, aggressive solicitation, or “hounding” members will be permanently banned from the platform.
For Members: Protection is a two-way street. Any member engaging in fake solicitation, aggressive behavior, or harassment will face immediate suspension.
Account Deletion: Serious or repeated violations of these standards will result in permanent account deletion and forfeiture of access.
Our forums are designed for the free exchange of ideas among peers. We actively monitor these spaces to ensure they remain a safe harbor from high-pressure sales tactics. We encourage members to report any negative practices immediately to maintain the “high-value” nature of our collective work.
(Remains as previously drafted—focusing on member ownership and the “Walled Garden” for project designs.)
We only collect data necessary to provide you with a high-value experience:
Account Information: Name, email, and business details for identity verification.
Member Content: Project plans and designs you voluntarily upload to groups.
Technical Data: IP addresses and device info used solely for security and to prevent “fake” account solicitation.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or intellectual property. Your data is shared only with:
Other Members: Within your specific tier (e.g., Startup, Student), peers can see what you share in forums.
Essential Service Providers: Secure third parties that keep our site running (e.g., our hosting provider or payment processor). These vendors are legally bound to protect your data and cannot use it for their own marketing.
No Uninvited Vendor Access: As stated, no equipment or service vendors have access to your private group data unless you explicitly invite them.
Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your membership is active to ensure you have access to your projects.
Inactive Accounts: If an account is inactive for more than 24 months, we will reach out. If no response is received, we securely delete or anonymize the data.
Your “Right to be Forgotten”: You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. We will process these requests within 30 days.
We use “Strictly Necessary” cookies to keep you logged in and secure.
Analytics: We use anonymized analytics to see which forum topics are most helpful.
No Third-Party Ad Tracking: We do not allow third-party advertising cookies to “follow” you or build a profile of your behavior for outside marketing.
